Nyske Blokhuis studied mechanical engineering at the Eindhoven University of Technology in The Netherlands and has been a patent attorney with EP&C since 2001. Before becoming a patent attorney, she worked as an engineer and as a failure analysis specialist. Nyske works for a wide variety of clients, for example in agricultural and food processing equipment, laboratory equipment, metallurgy and consumer products. She specialises in the drafting of patent applications (in particular for cases where litigation and/or opposition is expected), oppositions and appeals and IP strategy. Nyske regularly lectures on IP related topics.
