Slecht rechsvergelijkend nieuws voor BREIN (zie eerdere berichtgeving): Duitse ISP zijn niet verplicht om  informatie over hun abonnees af te staan aan de muziekindustrie.
Het altijd goed geïnformeerde Heise bericht dat "Suspicions of illegal copying of tracks and possible dissemination of such via FTP servers notwithstanding access providers are not legally obliged to divulge customer data.
