Ondertussen in Kazachstan
Weer eens wat anders dan Genève of Zeist: in de Commonwealth of Independent States of CIS (Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Ukraine) wordt hard gewerkt aan 'Cooperation Accord on suppression of offences in intellectual property'. Een conferentie over dit akkoord begint vandaag in Astana, de hoofdstad van Kazachstan.
"The Main Document of the Forum should become a determination to submit the draft Concept of the organization of interstate information exchange and initiation of the national data basses to prevent and suppress violations in sphere of intellectual property to the Heads of the Governments of CIS states."
