Her experience and detailed know-how is significant, gained not only from practising law for nine years, but also her being with AstraZeneca, where she became expert in legal and business aspects from a client's perspective. This combination makes Ilja an extraordinary asset for our clients and for De Brauw. And on top of that she is a wonderful person."
Ilja Morée: "One of the many things I have noticed in the past few years is how essential intellectual property rights are for an innovative company. A company's success rides on the ability to claim ownership rights. And what is also essential is thorough knowledge of the field, excellent international coordination, and lawyers who truly understand the business. De Brauw offers all three and I am very much looking forward to making a contribution to the firm's intellectual property practice with my acquired expertise and broad experience."
Ilja was previously with De Brauw from 1995 to 2003, after which she was with Bristows in London for a year. She joined AstraZeneca in 2004, first as General Counsel, and later was also appointed Vice President of Corporate & Legal Affairs.
